The grand old lady of Auckland's charter fleet, the Lady Gay was built in 1934 by Colin Wilde. At the outbreak of war she was offered to the government and served under the white ensign until 1945. A total restoration in 2002 that discretely added modern technology and comforts to her elegant Edwardian charm now sees her as a fast and comfortable classic launch offering unique day trips and cruising holidays.
Whether it is a thoroughly stylish afternoon harbour cruise that takes your fancy,or a journey to the famed Matakana Wine district, you can be assured of enjoying the very best New Zealand has to offer, in an environment of unmatchable romance. |
